ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION
Last updated August 26, 2026
This page explains how to delete your The Ticketing Co. account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the account you use with:
TTC Box Office — our organizer app for box office sales and ticket scanning
The Ticketing Co — our original app, where ticket holders find their orders and which TTC Box Office replaces for organizers
the theticketing.co website, where tickets are bought
All three share a single account, and both apps are published by Tixco LLC, doing business as The Ticketing Co. Deleting your account removes it from all of them at once.
DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT YOURSELF
Log in at theticketing.co and open your profile page. In the apps, Profile → Delete account opens the same profile page.
Under Delete my account, click Delete Account.
Tick the confirmation box and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out on every device within 15 minutes. If the button reports a problem instead, use the request channels below.
IF YOU ARE PART OF AN ORGANIZATION'S TEAM
Accounts on an event organizer's team — anyone holding a role such as owner, moderator, viewer, box office manager or ticket scanner, which is how TTC Box Office is used — cannot use the button above, because the account is linked to that organization's event and sales records. To delete such an account, either:
ask the organization's owner to remove you from the team in the organizer dashboard, after which the self-service steps above should work (owners of an organization cannot be removed this way and should use the request channels), or
send us a deletion request as described below. You do not need to be able to log in.
REQUEST DELETION WITHOUT LOGGING IN
You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time, even if you no longer have access to the account:
email info@theticketing.co from the email address on the account, with the subject "Account deletion request", or
submit a data subject access request and choose deletion.
We verify that the request comes from the account holder, confirm that we have received it, and act on it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
WHAT IS DELETED
your profile: name, email address, phone number and postal address
your login credentials and every active session, on the web and in the apps
the link between your account and any saved payment method — we never store your full card number
the newsletter preference stored on your account (the mailing-list subscription itself is separate — see below)
WHAT IS KEPT, AND WHY
Some records are retained after your account is deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy:
Order, payment, refund and dispute records are kept as transaction records for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and legal purposes, for as long as those obligations require. They keep the purchase details given at checkout — including the name, email address and billing address on the order — but are no longer linked to a login.
Actions performed on behalf of an organization — ticket scans, check-ins and box office sales — remain in that organization's event records as part of the organizer's sales history, along with the staff name and email address they were performed under.
A newsletter subscription is managed separately from your account: turn it off on your profile page before deleting, use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or include it in your deletion request.
WHAT MAY DELAY A DELETION
Deletion is paused while your account has:
a payment plan with instalments still to be charged,
an open payment dispute, or
a resale listing awaiting the buyer's payment, or a resale refund in progress.
Once these are settled the deletion goes ahead.
