About this event

ENTER THE SPOTLIGHT is a collaborative underground music showcase presented by Hyperpop NYC, Venom Posse, and WRTTN, bringing together artists across hyperpop, experimental rap, plugg, digicore, rage, punk rap, and electronic music for a night of live performances.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy complimentary pizza courtesy of TWEAKZA, available while supplies last. A longtime staple of the Venom Posse-affiliated TWEAKZA event series, the tradition helps set the tone for an evening of live music, discovery, and community.

Featured performers include:
ZAYGUAPKID — pioneering dark plugg rapper, founding member of Reapwrld/TrapGoth, and creator of the GOTHTOBERmixtape series, which helped define a darker, goth-influenced lane within the underground rap scene.

slaywitme — digicore and sigilkore artist known for hyperpop-inspired tracks such as masquerade, cupcakes.mp3, and ketamine. More recently, they have embraced a darker sound, releasing eerie glo-inspired anthems and experimental electronic rage tracks.

DIRTYBUTT — underground trap-metal and industrial rap artist whose abrasive production, punk-rap sensibilities, and distorted sound have made him a standout figure in the modern underground rap scene.

Earl From Yonder — Baltimore-born artist known for blending punk, experimental hip-hop, and deeply personal songwriting into a singular sound shaped by DIY punk ethos and creative self-expression.

Cheatuhs — Los Angeles-based artist known for blending pluggnb melodies, distorted basslines, and SoundCloud-era hip-hop into a distinctive sound that has earned him a dedicated underground following.

slaynstacy — artist known for blending melodic rap and bouncy trap production into infectious party-ready anthems that have become staples of underground event and nightlife culture.

Kenopro79 — Idaho-born, New England-based artist and frequent collaborator of Acid Souljah known for his melodic approach to underground rap. As co-founder of JRG alongside $wagZilla, he has become a recognizable voice within the contemporary underground scene.

Yung Blasian — Brooklyn-based artist, producer, and storyteller known for blending hyperpop, alternative electronic music, indie influences, and narrative-driven songwriting. Creator of the Blasian Empire series, he is recognized for his captivating stage presence and ability to transform personal narratives into shared experiences with the audience.

Okayracer — Queens-born, Long Island-raised artist known for blending hyperpop, rap, rock, electronic, and alternative influences into a sound uniquely his own. His energetic live performances and collaborations with artists such as poptropicaslutz! have made him a familiar presence within New York's underground music scene.

Redd40 — experimental rap artist known for crafting futuristic soundscapes and dystopian narratives exploring class warfare, environmental collapse, and the dehumanization of consumer culture. His work blends unconventional production, immersive worldbuilding, and sharp social commentary.

Venom Posse — NYC-based alternative collective dedicated to uplifting local artists through collaboration, community-building, and underground events. Representing the collective throughout the evening will be Luka's Grave, Fray, and Bullhead, whose performances reflect the group's commitment to fostering creative expression and independent artistry within New York's DIY music scene.

Additional performances throughout the evening will feature Peyd3y and Twinglockuser123.

The showcase will be supported by DJ Matt Tha Outlaw, who will provide playback and performance support for featured artists throughout the night.
