THE EVENT

Join us on April 25th, 2024 for a splendid evening showcasing the works of an array of multi-talented artists and launching tattoo design collaborations with several of our wonderful resident tattoo artists. 

Prepare to be captivated by the visually arresting artistry of Leah Gardner, Cortney Herron, Anya Karolyn, Victoria Sequiera, Llewellyn Skye, Jess Swan, Lucas Bononi, and Emel Ozkul. Their work, characterized by intricate linework and vivid hues, embodies a seamless blend of various artistic styles, resulting in stunning and intellectually stimulating pieces.

For those with an interest in acquiring a piece of this unique artistry, the original artworks displayed at the event will be available for purchase. We encourage you to take advantage of our Early Bird Admission until April 21st at 12:00 AM EST.

This gathering also marks the commencement of booking opportunities for tattoos crafted in partnership with highlighted artists. Ticket holders will be granted priority access to these tattoo designs and appointment times on a first-come, first-served basis. Please expect a follow-up email with additional details on the collections and how to book your piece.

THE TATTOOS

Atelier Eva is a luxury tattoo studio and creative destination based in Williamsburg, New York. Founded in 2020, the brand's two locations at 29 Havemeyer St. and 59 Grand St. specialize in fine line, hand-poke, botanical, ornamental, and pop culture tattoos. Known for their incredibly detailed work, our 20+ resident artists at both studios come from a diverse array of backgrounds and specialties.

Together, several of our residents have collaborated with the showcased artists of the event to craft one-of-a-kind tattoo designs. These designs will be available exclusively for a limited period. Bookings for these unique tattoos can be made through Atelier Eva’s online booking portal.

Ticket holders will soon receive an email detailing the resident tattoo artists featured, previews of the design collections, and available appointment slots. Please note, that these opportunities are limited in time and availability.

THE FEATURED ARTISTS

LUCAS BONONI (b. 1991, Los Angeles) is a contemporary painter based in New York, NY. With non-conventional mark making tools, he captures the essence of nature, delicately weaving its irreplaceable beauty through nuanced splashes of color and light. In his art, the dance of beauty and chaos, figuration and abstraction unfold creating a dialogue between humanity and the natural world. Paint slams the surface creating a marbling effect of flesh mixed with natures elements. LEAH GARDNER is a Chicago-based contemporary artist, is best known for her quiet but vibrant still-life paintings and endearing pigeon portraits. CORTNEY HERRON is a Los Angeles-born contemporary figurative artist, blends bold yet soothing colors to evoke a sense of serene contemplation. Her art, rich in organic forms, forges a connection between raw human experience and the natural world. KAROCRAFTS is Anya Karolyn, the NYC based multimedia artist. Her nontraditional techniques mix digital with fine art; to create collections of canvas work, video, and clothing. Always positioning a female figure as the central character in her work, she aims to chronicle a new story in each piece. EMEL OZKUL is known as an expressionist artist based in Brooklyn; she delves deep into the world of dreams with her vibrant and emotive paintings. Collaborating with a community guided by the inner child, she brings internal landscapes to life using oil paint and paper, filling each piece with vivid colors and depth. Emel also creates sculptures, referred to as "toys," which add another dimension to her artistic expression. VICTORIA SEQUIERA is a self-taught and self-represented artist whose work focuses on the intersection of beauty and ugliness in the human experience. LLEWELLYN SKYE Located on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, her artwork is intricate and emotionally charged, full of lively movements, vibrant colors, and dynamic compositions. Skye draws her inspiration from the beauty and power of florals and her exploration of the expressive and dramatic Baroque period. She confidently pays homage to this transformative era while bringing new life into a traditional and sacred genre. JESS SWAN Jess Swan is a colour obsessed, textural abstract artist from Perth, Australia. Known for her vibrantly playful and distinctly intricate squiggle paintings (aka SQUIGGS) her unique art style has gained prominence on social media & garnered the attention of private collectors around the world. Jess draws influence from her love of colour, food & her background in Interior design to create intentionally intricate artworks that spark a sense of nostalgia. Intuitively driven to evolve her artistic learnings through media experimentation, Jess’ paintings offer an eccentric, multisensory experience. ASH - Ash formalized her art career after graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a Fine Arts degree, focusing on illustration.
