🎧 MEET YOUR HOST
Your instructor Noah Riley has been DJing professionally for over 12 years, with experience that spans far beyond the bedroom and straight into real-world booths, festivals, and club environments.
They began their journey mixing at home and doing mobile DJ work through their company Allegro Audio, learning the fundamentals of music selection, crowd reading, and sound from the ground up. From there, that experience grew into hosting and promoting full-scale events — including booking and supporting touring DJs from around the world, with artists coming from as far as the UK, the Netherlands, Colombia, and beyond.
Their background also includes promoting and hosting Driftmore Music & Arts Festival, and performing in 8 states, as far out as Colorado and Tennessee — gaining firsthand knowledge of what DJs need to succeed in different rooms, systems, and scenes.
All of that experience ultimately led to the creation of The Goose — a venue built intentionally to bring club-standard sound, professional equipment, and real dance music culture to Dubuque. The goal has always been simple:
to make The Goose a home for DJs, a place where artists can learn, grow, and play on serious systems without leaving a small city behind.
This masterclass is a chance to learn directly from someone who’s lived every step of the DJ journey — from bedroom to booth, along with hand selected guest DJs to help round things out and show unique perspectives.
