Frequency Factory presents OldGold & Pharma — a unique, likely once-in-a-lifetime show for the RDU area.

We’re thrilled to host this stop on @pharmadubs’ USA debut and @oldgoldinfinity’s NC debut this May. OldGold, hailing from Austin, TX, is a seasoned artist in the dubstep scene and label head for @silentmotionrec, a force that has created massive impact on dubstep music across the States. Years of touring and industry expertise as a DJ, producer, and promoter precede him.

Pharma is hopping the pond from Austria to deliver an infrasonic experience — a dubstep artist supplying the community with tracks spanning rhythm-focused, percussive tunes, heavy wobblers, and everything in between. This will be Pharma’s very first time in the US, and this is his debut show here. We can’t think of a better way to present this than with our favorite local sound system, @diffuseaudio.

On the homestate side, we have local support holding it down in their own rights: @v37ch (Vetch) from Charlotte, a staple in the NC dubstep scene known for his Subtle radio mixes and frequent performances. @chief_dubz from Chapel Hill brings tasteful, curated dubstep with years of knowledge and experience… remember last March with Innamind? And our own @phist919 from Raleigh will be showcasing an exclusive dub- and roots-focused set to start the night off, shining light on the true origins of dubstep itself.

This event will have no shortage of sound and energy. We hope to see you out, from start to finish, for this special display of true underground dubstep.
