Doors 7 PM | Show 8 PM

$15 in advance online | $20 day of show

Take a visit to Philipsburg, Montana and you will find a little town of 900 that is quirky, spooky, steeped in history and rough around the edges. Just like the town where he resides, Ben Larson and his rhythm section, the Grownass Men, bring to the stage a completely original sound that intertwines Western storytelling, country classics and plenty of barnyard animal noises. Composed of Ben the carpenter on guitar, Pfahl the farmer on percussion and Cotton the retired soldier on bass, this is the music of modern life in rural Montana, ghosts of the past and wry words of wisdom compiled over years of living outside and working with their hands.

Ben and the band have been road warriors, playing over 100 shows in both 2023 and 2024 and opening the stages for the likes of the Wilder Blue, Big Richard, Laney Lou and the Birddogs, Driftwood and many more as they attempt to bring their rambling roadshow to all 56 Montana counties.

Ben’s 2024 solo album “The Carpenter and the Poet” can be found on all streaming platforms as can Ben Larson and the Grownass Men’s new single “The Man From Coeur D’Alene. See the attached links.

*****

“Copper and Sage is a husband and wife duo established in Montana. Influenced by country, rock, blues and folk music they combine a raw sound with traditional and modern material. Kaitlin grew up in Anaconda, Montana, once a copper smelting town. Greg is from the “city of lights” in Nevada, the sagebrush state. They love playing live music but especially paired with good company.”
