Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad 20th Anniversary Tour

About this event
Formed in Rochester, NY, Giant Panda first received praise for their live show, which combined world beats and reggae rhythms with an urgent energy and jam band dynamics. It’s no surprise that Live For Live Music called the band, “...one of the most innovative and genre-pushing reggae bands out there.” The twenty year-old band consists of Dylan Savage (guitar, vocals), James Searl (bass, vocals) Chris O'Brian (drums, vocals), Eli Flynn (guitar, vocals), and Lucius Snowden (keyboards). Beyond their celebrated live energy, Panda has also released six studio albums.
Panda is celebrating 20 years as a band in 2024 by doing a fun fall tour of intimate venues with incredible roots artists Josh Heinrichs and the band Signal Fire.
PANDA first ran into Josh Heinrichs in Jupiter, FL for the first time and were blown away by how incredibly roots his songs were and the angel voice he mesmerized the audience with. Junior Marvin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junior_Marvin) of Bob Marley & The Wailers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Marley_%26_The_Wailers) was quoted about Heinrichs, saying “Josh is one of those guys who comes along and fills his music with such an inspiration and with such energy that it translates so easily and positively to anyone hearing it. He is a rare talent in both his ability to craft a song with a certain timeless quality to it, and then, man, his voice, well, I mean, damn, the kid can sing as good as anyone out there
Josh Heinrichs will be backed by Signal Fire, who will begin the night with their own selection of super roots reggae.
Panda is big fans of Signal Fire and the bands even put out a sweet song in 2024 “Share The Love”. Signal Fire is a group of diverse musicians with a common goal, to spread unity through music. Hailing from the coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina Signal Fire brings a unique blend of reggae/rock music for the masses.
