About this event

Join us a week before the festivities of the Hot August Music Festival, on Friday August 14th for a very special pre-party with Ed Hough's Allman Brothers Collective at Union Craft Brewing.

Ed Hough’s Allman Brothers Collective is what happens when top-tier musicians stop dabbling and go all-in on honoring one of the most legendary catalogs in rock history. This isn’t a casual tribute—it’s a full-throttle, deeply authentic celebration of the music of the Allman Brothers Band, performed by a powerhouse “supergroup” of seasoned players who know how to stretch, groove, and mean it.

Led by Ed Hough, the Collective brings together some of the region’s most respected talent, each member contributing their own voice while staying true to the spirit of the originals. Expect soaring dual guitar harmonies, rich Hammond organ textures, and a rhythm section that locks in with both precision and soul. They don’t just play the songs—they live in them, expanding on the improvisational legacy that made the Allman Brothers iconic.

From the swampy grit of “One Way Out” to the transcendent builds of “Whipping Post” and the melodic beauty of “Jessica,” every performance is crafted to feel both faithful and fresh. Long-form jams, dynamic interplay, and that unmistakable Southern rock/blues fusion make every show a unique experience.

If you’re looking for background music, this ain’t it. This is for people who want to feel something—fans who understand that the magic of the Allman Brothers was never just the songs, but what happened between the notes.
