ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

I Dreamt This Production and DJ CIANA collaborate with DJs, musicians, artists, mystics, and activists to create events that invite us to connect with one another and the beautiful, wild world we inhabit. CIANA is based in the San Francisco area and is a bilingual creative force: a writer, translator, event creatrix, and DJ, who has lived in Latin America, Italy, New York, and Los Angeles. Having reveled on dance floors all over the world, Ciana knows deep in her body that when we dance, we leave the mundane world behind and elevate to higher realms, where we connect, feel alive, and get free. She’s somatically trained with Tasha Blank’s Powerhouse DJ School, and she’s a part of the eco-performance, global Collective BAE, DJs 4 Climate Action, as well as the Support Women DJs movement. She is also the Community Fairy Oddmother for Nuna Productions (@tender_riots and @waffulhowze). In her sets, CIANA fuses everything from Afrobeats, riddim, and amapiano to Latin, organic, funky deep house, neosoul, nu disco, and chillwave pop remixes. Her sets invite people to sweat, sway, and sing together. Maestra of a whimsical, raucous ritual, CIANA invites it all. IG: @ciana.djs and join her dancing at all the things nunaproductions.com

Queering Marin, created by Cindy Manit and Femily Howe, is a growing community for Marin-based queer, trans, and nonbinary folks, plus allies, to connect, gather, and make some queer magic.

About the Musicians:

Ché Ashley is a psychospiritual mentor and sound practitioner known for creating deeply restorative experiences that bridge nervous system healing with sacred self-connection. Through grounded earth instruments, resonant frequencies, and intuitive energetic presence, she guides immersive sound journeys designed to regulate, soften, and awaken inner clarity. Her work invites participants into a refined yet deeply soulful space of restoration, resonance, and return.

As a former musical theatre dancer, DJ Glen North knows what makes you move. Now he brings that passion and energy to the dancefloor. Currently a grad student at the California Institute of Integral Studies, he brings his knowledge of somatics to the dancefloor, encouraging dancers to engage deeply with their bodies through a carefully curated House music set and light facilitation. Originally from DC, his passion was creating The Journey, a mobile silent disco dance party. Each event takes a different route through the city and we dance from one spot to the next. You see your city in a new way as you dance in parks, playgrounds, sidewalks and more with a playlist designed to match the location. If this sounds enticing, stay tuned, The Journey will be making its way to San Francisco soon.
