Barbie is the most loved toy in the toy box until she gets "disfigured" in a violent playtime incident. Other toys start to whisper about Barbie getting sent away to The Attic, where the haunted dolls are damned to rot for all eternity. When Ken, recently forgotten in the Goth Older Sibling’s room, returns with some dark advice, Barbie must decide between facing her demons... or summoning them.
Night of the Living Dolls (NotLD) is a volunteer-based community drag theatre production put on by local non-profit Art and Soul SLO. The production combines theatre and lip-synch style drag to create a cohesive and entertaining show. The clash of glitter and hellfire sets the stage for a horror comedy that is equal parts cathartic, bizarre, and entertaining.
