About Mantra Sounds:
Mantra Sounds, the stage name of Giana, is a visionary artist hailing from the tri-state area whose work as a DJ, producer, and vocalist pushes the boundaries of experimental bass music. Her performances are a reflection of her multifaceted approach to music accompanied by her own original vocals, where she effortlessly fuses darker, shadowy elements with more fluid and uplifting rhythms, creating a signature sound that feels both bold and introspective.
At the core of her sound lies a deep exploration of self-discovery, esoterica, and the constant battle between light and dark. Her project embodies a balance of dualities: the angel and devil on our shoulders, the tension between control and expression. These themes cast back the complexity of human experience—a musing of her real-life experiences and a personal exploration of the human condition.
As she embraces her artistry, "Mantra Sounds" has evolved into more than just a project—it has become a living, breathing entity. The word ‘mantra’ represents a raw constant, a reminder of the endless growth she continues to embrace—artistically, personally, creatively, and professionally. The Mantra Sounds project is more than music—it's a way of being, feeding her passion and fueling her drive to continuously expand and represent her unique, multifarious vision.
