Marionette Workshop by Naughty Little No Good

Marionette Design & Fabrication Workshop!!
March 7, 14 & 21 *** 12PM–4PM *** Bed-Stuy

Join me for an in-depth three-part workshop in the art of marionette making! Over three consecutive Saturdays in March (7, 14, and 21), you’ll learn the complete process of designing and building your own marionette, from initial concept sketches to a performance-ready puppet!

This hands-on experience covers every stage of fabrication: design, sculpting, jointing, stringing, and finishing techniques. This workshop is ideal for those swept up in the puppet revolution who are looking for the tools and confidence to at last bring their ideas to life. No prior experience necessary- - - best for Beginner to Intermediate-level puppeteers :)

What’s included:

• 12 hours of class time (3 sessions, 4 hours each)
• All supplies and materials needed to build your marionette
• Take-home resource materials for future projects
• A Naughty Little No Good Puppetry T-shirt :)
• Puppet friends! (inanimate and human)

By the end of these sessions, you’ll leave with a fully constructed marionette of your own design, plus the foundational skills to continue creating independently to infinity and beyond<3
