Bullfrog Brewery welcomes back Pressing Strings! Pressing Strings is an Annapolis, Maryland-based powerhouse trio led by guitarist/vocalist Jordan Sokel, blending indie-folk, soul, and rock with intimate songwriting and, at times, reggae-tinged grooves. Known for high-caliber musicianship, the band features bassist Nick Welker and drummer Justin Kruger, creating a warm, melodic sound that often features rich harmonies. Their sound bridges the gap between bluesy rock, soulful indie, and folk. Known for intimate storytelling, passionate vocals, and soul-drenched tunes, their live performances are recognized for their intensity and authentic connection with audiences.
Pressing Strings has recently toured or shared the stage with Driftwood, Kitchen Dwellers, and Yarn (Driftwood and Yarn being previous Bullfrog alumni) They are known for supporting major acts and performing at festivals with artists like Gov't Mule, Toad the Wet Sprocket, JJ Grey, and Neal Francis.
