About Rivers:
Born out of the simple idea to be able to play anywhere at anytime gave rise to central Pennsylvania’s alt-folk group Rivers. Brought together and baptized by the mighty Susquehanna, and with just simple acoustic instruments, the power duo amasses an eclectic inundation of sound. Made up of Joe Schaefer on upright bass and Vincent Yarnell on acoustic guitar and banjo, they spatter forth an electrifying array of technical nuance and heavy-thumping beats worthy to be remembered. Rivers’ style is a wash of genres that defies classification and leaves audiences thirsty for more. Now this folk slaps.
About Tanjo and Crow:
Tanjo & Crow is a no-holds-barred exploration of roots music through eclectic songwriting, Appalachian arrangements, and seemingly fearless improvisation. The project draws upon the diverse musical backgrounds of Tanner Bingaman (guitar, banjo, vocals) and Allan Combs II (guitar, vocals). After the release of their labor-of-love series entitled The Elias Center Sessions, Tanjo & Crow were featured on Pennsylvania NPR via WITF Studio. The band is looking at an exciting season of theatre shows, festival sets, and listening-room concerts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
Anterra & Peter Stone:
Anterra & Peter Stone are a dream-folk duo, each songwriters themselves, who are deeply committed to the magic and alchemy of presence and music. They work to translate both the mystical and the difficult into cathartic songs of healing. Their songs are ethereal in sound, and dance between somber and hopeful in tone. Anterra’s crystalline voice draws playful melodies amongst Peter’s dulcet vocals and the lush instrumentation they weave together. Come for an evening of haunting enchantment.
