Si Doux is the project of Siddhu Anandalingam, the leader of the shoegaze band Semaphore. Si Doux makes dancey jazz-influenced IDM music reminiscent of Boards of Canada or Tycho, but with ethereal noise elements.
Chainlacing:
Taken from their website: Chainlacing is Rick Martel and Lauren Crosser. The project started in New Hampshire, where Lauren would travel from Boston to record guitar ideas in Rick’s home studio. The duo gravitate toward lofi, ambient guitar and synthesizer effects, melodic drone, reverb, and gloom—like listening to doom, shoegaze, goth, or industrial on 8-track tapes.
