Reggae/dancehall/jungle genre: In UK dancehall and jungle music, a "steppa" has a distinctive "four-on-the-floor" beat, a heavy bassline, and is dance-oriented, influencing early dubstep. A "steppa" (or stepper) has several meanings, most commonly referring to someone stylish, a good dancer, or a music style (like "steppa" dub).
Steppa Sound is a camping music festival bringing steppas from near and far to play on and listen to high quality sound systems.
