Tom Batchelor is a singer-songwriter and guitarist with more than 35 years of performing and songwriting experience. A former member of nationally touring reggae-rock acts Rasta Rafiki and The Recipe, Batchelor later formed the Tom Batchelor Band, blending reggae, rock, funk, and improvisational jam influences.
Featuring an accomplished lineup of seasoned musicians, the band performs a mix of original music and covers inspired by artists like Bob Marley, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and Toots and the Maytals. Their energetic live shows explore styles ranging from reggae and ska to jazz, funk, and country.
The Tom Batchelor Band has released three full-length albums: Runes (2004), Moon vs. Mars (2017), and Snake Oil (2024).
