About this event
Chuck Blasko is a founding member and longtime second tenor of The Vogues, the chart-topping harmony-pop group that emerged from Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. The only original member to perform continuously since the group’s 1965 debut, Blasko later went on to lead his own version of the band, keeping the Vogues’ signature sound alive across Western Pennsylvania.
Formed in 1958 as The Val-Aires during their high school years, the group rose to national fame with hits like Five O'Clock World, You're the One, Magic Town, and Turn Around, Look at Me. Their success led to appearances on iconic shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show, The Tonight Show, and American Bandstand.
In recognition of their lasting impact, The Vogues were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2001.
