Join us for a special panel discussion exploring the themes, ideas, and questions at the heart of The Last Yiddish Speaker. JRT Performing Arts Director Adam Yellen, director Kyle LoConti, members of the cast, and special guests will discuss the play’s exploration of Jewish identity, language, memory, antisemitism, and the importance of preserving culture in the face of intolerance.
The conversation will also offer a behind-the-scenes look at bringing Deborah Zoe Laufer’s timely play to the JRT stage, followed by an opportunity for audience questions.
The panel will take place upstairs in the Lippman Lounge.
