General

Your confirmation receipt (with tickets attached) is sent immediately after your purchase is confirmed. If you didn't receive it, its possible that it went to one of your throwaway emails or you mis-entered your email. You can always find your tickets in my orders!

By default, all tickets sold on The Ticketing Co. are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. We are working to offer a ticket insurance product which will fully refund the cost of your ticket should unforeseen circumstances arise. Check back for more information soon!

Of course! Your ticket arrives via email as a PDF (or can be downloaded in the my orders section of your account). Open it in your preferred PDF reader on your computer or phone and you should be able to print them.

Absolutely. You can open your ticket(s) on your phone and have it scanned by any person utilizing The Ticketing Co. Scanner app. Just make sure to turn your brightness up!

Yes! The Event Organizer hosting your event should be using our Scanner/Check-in app on their phone or have a hard copy list to check people in at the door.

Make sure you can provide them with your full name, email address and/or order confirmation number to claim your ticket(s). You may need to show them proof of ID in order to confirm your purchase, however!

If you are ever seeing a duplicate charge you can't explain, please reach out to us first before reaching out to your bank or credit card company. We can always assist you faster!

There are three possibilities as to why you're seeing a duplicate charge:
  1. Your transaction failed due to any number of reasons (Wrong Zip code, Wrong CVC, Mis-matched numbers, etc etc) and you are looking at a temporary charge on statement that will fall off in a few business days. Don't be alarmed yet! If your transaction failed, we've already sent you an email to inform you about it and you probably got an error message when you attempted to purchase your tickets. If you're unsure or you didn't receive an email, please reach out to us at hello@theticketing.co and we'll help you get to the bottom of it!
  2. You purchased a second ticket without remembering that you had already purchased the first! Check my orders at any time to see your past purchases or to download your tickets.
  3. You purchased a second ticket without remembering, using a second account! We have seen a handful of people register for an account using a username and password, then create a second account by signing up with Facebook without remembering their initial purchase (or vice versa) in the past.

We would recommend first checking your spam folder first to ensure that your ticket(s) didn't end up there by accident. If that's the case, please mark our emails as not spam/whitelist or domain so future emails don't end up your spam folder again.


If you're still unable to find them, you can either find your order and download your tickets in my orders or you can reach out to hello@theticketing.co and we can resend your order confirmation!

We're very sorry you've had an issue trying to buy tickets. Please immediately reach out hello@theticketing.co with details about the error you encountered including:
  • Your Name
  • Email
  • Event you tried to purchase tickets to
  • Internet Browser used (version optional, but helpful!) and Mobile/Desktop
  • Screenshots (if necessary)

So you want to transfer your ticket to another person, huh? Easy! Just go to your orders page and choose the order you would like to transfer tickets from. On that page there is a button titled “Transfer tickets”, simply press that button and fill out the information in the transfer pop-up to have your ticket(s) sent over to the other person.


Once transferred there is no way to undo your transfer. Please ensure you enter in the correct email for the transferee!

Layaway

Layaway Plans are orders that break up the cost of an entire cart (not just one ticket tier!) into smaller, digestible chunks. Tickets purchased on a Layaway Plan will have a defined payment schedule and Layaway ticket buyers will not receive their ticket until their Layaway plan is fully paid off.

The payment schedule can be found in a few places. First, you will see it laid out during the purchase process and in the Layaway Agreement you must agree to in order complete that purchase. After you've completed your purchase, you can find the payment schedule in your Orders by selecting your Layaway plan purchase. You can also find it in the confirmation emailed to you after your purchase was completed. Generally speaking, you will be charged on the 15th of the month, however!

That's easy! Simply find your Layaway Order in your Orders and click on that order ID. You will see an option on this page to update your Credit Card on the order page.

Yes, a Layaway Plan can be cancelled. Please note, however, all Layaway Plans are nonrefundable, so any payments made toward a Layaway Plan will not be returned in the event of cancellation.

All Layaway Plan orders are given three attempts to complete a payment on their payment schedule with two days intervals between each attempt after the first. We send reminders when your payment is upcoming as well as if we were unable to process your payment on any attempt to give you adequate notice and time to ensure your payment is processed successfully. If after three attempts we're unable to charge your card successfully, your payment plan will be cancelled and you will be refunded less the cost of your plans Service & Processing fees, Layaway Plan fee and Cancellation fee (if applicable, check the Layaway Plan Agreement included in your order confirmation email for details).

If you'd like to update your payment information for a future payment or make a missed payment, simply go to My Orders, select your layaway plan order and click/tap on "Pay or change payment method".
